Hyon water locks
Project Description:
For quite some time, AltNova has been working on the restoration of the former water locks in Hyon near Bergen. Since August in 2018, the locks have been operational again and on Sept. 26, 2018, the press was present for the official inauguration. The restoration of the monument was a long and complex process, the video is by TéléMB. We took care of : restoration of 4 types of locks, including mechanical parts and the reconstruction of the lock doors with wrought iron parts and azobé wood.
