Hyon water locks
Project Description:
For some time, AltNova has been collaborating on the restoration of the former water locks at Hyon near Bergen. Since August in 2018, the locks have been operational again and on Sept. 26, 2018, the press was present for the official inauguration. The restoration of the monument was a long and complex process; the video is by TéléMB. We took for our account : repair of 4 types of locks, including mechanical parts and the reconstruction of the lock doors with wrought iron parts and azobé wood.
