Senior welder – Structural & RIVETED HISTORIC STEELWORK

Mentoring and coaching role

Client site (mostly) or Zaventem workshop

You will be responsible for the restoration, repair, and strengthening of historic steel frame structures and steel roof trusses, assembled with riveted and bolted connections.

You will supervise and mentor a small team of junior welders, guiding them in their work and development.

We will train you to become an expert in traditional fastening techniques, including hot riveting.

Full-time or part-time, also possible as a self-employed contractor.

Junior/experienced welder - Structural & Riveted Historic Steelwork

Client site (mostly) or Zaventem workshop

You will be involved in the restoration, repair, and strengthening of historic steel frame structures and steel roof trusses, assembled using riveted and bolted connections.

Your work will include welding, fitting, and assisting with hot riveting (training provided).

You will work alongside experienced colleagues and gradually grow into your role.

Zaventem workshop

Involves metalworking, welding, blacksmithing

You will disassemble, restore and assemble with bolts and rivets, historic functional and ornamental ironwork.

Training in surface treatment provided.

Senoir Installer - historic metalwork

On site 

Lead craft role

On-site dismantling and reinstallation of historic metalwork.
Working in close collaboration with our workshop, where restoration work is carried out.

Full-time, also possible as a self-employed contractor.

Junior / intermediate Installer - Historic metalwork

On site 

You will work alongside an experienced installer on site, assisting with the dismantling and reinstallation of historic metalwork that will be restored in our workshop.

You will be supported as you grow into the role.

PROJECT MANAGER Historic metal restoration

During your training and every day after, you will learn all about restoration of historic wrought & cast iron. With us, you will be given broader responsibility than many project managers elsewhere, as you will be at the wheel from bid to project follow-up.
