fences in wrought iron
Because of the far-reaching rust formation on the entire fence, the removal of the entire fence was needed. It was removed with extreme caution of the underlying pedestals and skirting boards in blue limestone. After restoration and surface treatment (rust and varnish) in our workshop, we repaired the stone damage under own management, reducing the number of possible mistakes from others. The whole fence with gate was placed back in exactly the same holes.
Points of attention for metal restoration: inspection and repair of all functional elements of the gate, addition of missing decorative elements, use of original connections, thorough antirust treatment with special attention to the pieces that disappear in the stones during the assembly.
