On large sites, we restore and strengthen steel lattice roof trusses and historic steel frame structures, often riveted or bolted.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:
Senior welder – structural & riveted historic steelwork
Your role
You are a technical reference on site. You combine hands-on welding with the guidance of junior welders, while ensuring the quality of the work.
Your responsibilities
- Carry out complex welding works on steel roof trusses, on columns & beams of steel frame structures
- Read and interpret drawings and technical details
- Prepare works in the workshop and organise them on site
- Guide and support junior welders
- Apply and pass on traditional techniques, including riveting (pneumatic and hydraulic)
Your profile
- Training in welding or steel construction, with proven experience
- Very good command of MIG/MAG and electrode welding (TIG is a plus)
- Comfortable working on site and at height
- Precise, responsible and safety-conscious (VCA)
- Strong interest in restoration and heritage
- EN, FR or NL
