Junior/Intermediate installer of Historic metalwork
Your role
As a Junior / Intermediate Installer, you will work on-site on the dismantling and reinstallation of historic metalwork, as part of a small team led by an experienced senior colleague. You leave daily from our workshop in Zaventem and gain hands-on experience on unique heritage projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in dismantling historic metal elements in reverse order of their original installation
- Participate in reinstallation after restoration in our workshop
- Work on cast-iron balconies, monumental gates, wrought-iron doors, metal windows, railings, glazing and other special structures
- Support safe and accurate site operations
Your profile
- General experience in construction or technical work
- Affinity with working in metal, stone, wood and glass
- Welding is a plus, but not required
- Practical, solution-oriented and eager to learn
- Dutch, French or English — or willingness to learn one of these languages
- Driving licence B or BE
